Designed for point-and-shoot cameras and compact DSLRs, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Microstage II Digiscoping Camera Adapter is an ideal way to capture photos and video through your spotting scope, binocular, or telescope eyepiece that measures between 29-63mm (1.1-2.4″) in diameter.

The camera tray has a standard 1/4″-20 mount with the capability to fully adjust the placement and distance from the camera to the eyepiece to achieve the perfect position for the lens to be centered with minimal vignetting. A convenient swing-arm system allows the camera to be moved away from the eyepiece for visual use without having to dismount the whole adapter. When moved back into place, the camera distance and placement settings are retained for fast and easy transitions from observing to photographing. Made of both aluminum and plastic, the adapter weighs just 7.6 ounces, yet is engineered to support cameras up to 3.3 pounds.

If youre device has a standard camera mount this is the best option for afocal digiscoping. The click feature effortless swings the camera out of your way while retaining the alignment so you can locate targets by eye.
